ReFaC will source testing services at the most competitive price, apportion the costs of testing programmes and collating the available data in the public domain.
Testing costs can vary significantly and they will represent a major cost component of REACH compliance.
The testing costs for a ‘non-phase in substance’ where no data is available and all tests had to be generated could vary between 21,000 and 21,000,000 euros – depending on the complexity and end-points of the testing programmes involved and the respective tonnage band.
